The projects that the company has implemented

Construction, installation, operation and maintenance of a pressure reduction and metering station at 70 to 7 bar with a capacity of 50 thousand cubic meters / hour Al-Saff City - Giza Governorate

• 25 zones were installed and operated to reduce pressure in 7-4-2 bar to 100 mm bar networks in 1000 cubic meters / hour up to 10000 cubic meters / hour
• The company has implemented ground networks of polyethylene pipes with lengths of 600 km with different diameters from 32 mm to 310 mm and pressures from 100 mm bar to 7 bar
• The company has connected and operated natural gas to industrial customers for 80 factories
• The company also carries out periodic maintenance, operation and emergency work for all domestic, commercial and industrial customers 24 hours a day and has a number of human cadres in managing this field, as well as emergency vehicles deployed in the work areas

Giza Project

The Giza project concession with guaranteed returns from E-Gas is a Build, Operate, Transfer, (BOT) project where MayGas will be responsible for constructing , operating and maintaining a pressure reduction station and the pipeline associated with supplying Natural Gas from the main grid to 37000 residences at Al Maasara, and Al Saff in addition to 169 brick factories consisting of 246 kilns.

It will also be responsible for distributing, marketing and selling the gas to consumers for a period of 20 years.

The Company’s operations started October 2010,but were disrupted by the 2011 revolution, and only started operating efficiently as of June 2011. In January 2012 Maasara pressure reduction station was commissioned , and works in Al saff area are ongoing.

Al Ayyat

This area consists of 50,000 houses (according to the National Census and 120 brick factories expected to increase in the coming years).

In addition to that an upcoming industrial area.

MayGas has invested in a 14 km 315 mm main supply pipeline, from her pressure reduction station in AL SAFF, costing in excess of L.E. 24,000,000; and including an under water crossing of the Nile.

Completion of only 30 thousand houses is expected by end of 2019 (due to restraints from non – availability/completion of the general sewage system). However, this investment also is expected to be fruitful in the coming years.
